He is Allah, the One besides whom there is no Deity, the King, the Holy, the Peace, the Believer, the Safeguard, the Exalted, the Tyrant, and the Arrogant; Glory to Allah from whatever they have been associating.
“The Believer” and “the Safeguard,” which are among the best names of Allah, are mentioned only in this verse. “The Safeguard” is mentioned as the name of Adhikr in verse 5: 48. The people of Messenger Muhammad who have inherited the Lord’s Book, as explained in verse 35: 32, are obliged to familiarize mankind about Allah in their heart’s language as Adhikr—the Speech of Allah and the Truth—submits. But the one in a thousand believer among them who testifies to the 40 names of Adhikr will only do this responsibility as explained in verse 32: 4. The rest 999 are the Arabic Qur’an Reading Fujjar who are fixed for any of the seven doors of Hellfire as explained in verse 15: 44. They are the Mujirims who are serving Satan as explained in verse 36: 59-62. See explanation 36: 83; and 39: 67.
